March 2, 2013, OAKVILLE, ON CANADA – North American Jaguar recently announced the 2013 season for its Performance Driving Academy; a performance geared driving course for Jaguar enthusiasts and racers. The basic course is free for Jaguar XFR, XFR-S, XKR, XKR-S and XJ Supersport owners, while the advanced course costs $2495 and allows all drivers the opportunity to practice their skills in some of the latest most advanced models.
A great day out for any Jaguar fanatic, the Jaguar Performance Driving Academy provides drivers with the opportunity live out every boy racer’s dream; with a full day of test racing, learning about the latest models and honing in their driving skills. Designed to help drivers realize the full potential of vehicles such as the supercharged XFR, XKR and XJ Supersport; and providing them with the skills and techniques to experience them in a safe and controlled environment.
The night before the course guests are invited to a welcome reception to settle in before the fun begins. The next morning the drivers begin their orientation and the day’s driving activities in the most Jaguar car models. Participants are taught valuable skills and lessons that can be applied to everyday driving and help increase their confidence and awareness behind the wheel. A range of driving activities is included; such as laps at speed following racing lines, corner entry and exit strategies and braking in a straight line.
