ANS Group Europe Announce Green Wall Project for Network Rail

Chichester, UK (20th February, 2013) – ANS Group Europe, leading designers and installers of indoor and outdoor living walls, recently agreed to undertake a project for Network Rail at Birmingham New Street Station.

ANS Group Europe will be working closely with Network Rail to plant living wall modules at their Birmingham-based train station, which will cover over three-hundred square-metres of wall space.

The installation will consist of over 27,000 plants spanning in excess of 20 different species, as part of Network Rail’s efforts to provide significant and multifaceted ecological benefits to the surrounding area.

ANS Group Europe will commence installation of the 3,000 required modules for Network Rail in early March 2013.

“The end-result will undoubtedly prove to be a very visual and artistic display, as it will be installed on the brand new and highly-visible Moor Street-New Street Link,” commented a spokesperson for ANS Group Europe. “We are eager to get this project underway next month and look forward to the possibility of working on further projects for Network Rail again in the future.”
