Trenitalia – Discovering Tuscany

Italy is one of Europe’s prime destination and this is certainly due to the variety and richness of its region. Tuscany is one of those regions in Italy where we can talk about unspoilt landscapes, perpetuating traditions and intense history. This Italian region is also widely regarded as the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance.

Travelling on board the Italian domestic trains, visitors will witness the green hills coated with olives gropes and vineyards before arriving in historic cities like Pisa and Florence where Rennaissance art overflows.

The discovery of the Tuscany region in Italy can in fact start from Pisa, a global tourist hub. The Italian city of Pisa is full of attractions and landmarks. The leaning Tower of Pisa ranks as one of the world’s most popular monuments. The leaning Tower of Pisa was created in 1173. It began to tilt when the structure was only 10m high. Several architectures has tried, without any success, to restore the balance.

But that’s not the only thing to see. Around the leaning Tower of Pisa, one can see the architectural wonder of the Cathedral and the Baptistry. The particular architecture results from the influence of Spanish and North African culture in Pisa.

The Linea 4 bus from the leaning Tower of Pisa will take visitors to the Pisa Centrale railway station.
