England 26/09/2012 – Over the years Quest have continuously worked to reduce their carbon footprint
Buying resin flooring from Quest Ltd makes a lot of sense. The firm has been in the business for 30 years and are early adopters of new technology. This means that they lay good quality floors, which last, yet are competitively priced.
They have laid hundreds of commercial and residential floors, and regularly work for big clients. Many of their floors are to be found in retail outlets including many branches of B&Q, Marks & Spencer and Sainsburys. They have laid some expansive floors in airports and other public spaces as well as industrial floors for firms like British Aerospace, Proctor & Gamble and Manchester United.
Understandably, when they first started out their focus was solely on providing the best floors for the best price. However, like many firms they have recently began working on reducing the impact what they do has on the environment. There are business reasons for doing so, for example, the firms they do business with are keen to reduce their carbon footprint. They would rather use a firm who offers a flooring solution that is low impact from an environmental point of view. However, Quest Ltd also genuinely wants to reduce the impact they have on the environment. They are in a position to have a significant positive impact on the environment and are keen to ensure that they do so.
Quest sign up to the halving waste to landfill scheme
For several years now, they have worked internally to reduce the amount of waste material they send to landfill with remarkable success. However, they have also recently joined the WRAP ‘Halving Waste to Landfill’ scheme. They have done so to give themselves a more structured approach to taking care of the environment.
Quest Industrial Services Ltd chose this scheme, in part, because it was set up specifically for the construction industry. The scheme is designed to save the participants money as well as help them to reduce their carbon footprint and includes a commitment to use more re-cycled materials in building projects.
