In a bid to provide a 3D appearance to polyethylene and polyurethane foams, Technical Foam Services’ engineering team designed and built a new 3D Foam Shaping machine. The system is now installed at the company’s headquarters in Northants and has the capability to cut 3D shapes from blocks of the foams. The unique method of angling the knife whilst cutting into and along the surface of the foam ultimately separates the machine from traditional foam cutting methods.
As a result of this innovative machinery, Technical Foam Services can now explore further business opportunities in the promotions and marketing sector. The 3D Foam Shaping machine is a testament to the innovative foam producer’s progressive approach.
